Mesotherapy

MESOTHERAPY ¡ breakthrough therapy to get rid of fat and cellulite. Mesotherapy is a "no surgery, no downtime, no discomfort" treatment for men and women -- a truly revolutionary treatment! This safe, non-invasive form of treatment for cellulite and fat is used to get rid of fat under the chin, in the abdomen, back,
buttocks, thighs, knees, and love handles. It is effective for ¡°bags¡± under the eyes and fat around the mouth and in the jowel areas. Mesotherapy is considered the ¡°homerun¡± of the cosmetic world rivaling what liposuction does for plastic surgery. Nothing even comes close to the ¡°cellulite¡± results achieved with this therapy.

Using microinjections of medications, vitamins and amino acids into the mesoderm (middle layer of the skin), this treatment is a safe and effective alternative to liposuction as it delivers healing or corrective treatment to specific, targeted body areas. It is becoming more widely used for body-sculpting, cellulite reduction and even skin rejuvenation.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is cellulite? Cellulite is a skin condition affecting over 90% of the most post pubescent women. The external, visible ¡°lumpy, dimpled¡± appearance on the hips, buttocks and legs is battled by even thin women.
In subcutaneous level of skin tissue, cellulite forms as fat cells arranged in chambers surrounded by the connective tissue (septae) expand and stretch this connective tissue as water is retained in these areas. With the stretching and expanding these tissues contract and harden (sclerosis) and hold the skin at a non-flexible length while the surrounding tissue continues to expand with weight and water gain. This results in some areas of the skin being held down while other areas ¡°bulge outward¡±¡giving that cottage cheese appearance.

What are the benefits of Mesotherapy over surgical treatments such as liposuction? Liposuction does not treat cellulite. Mesotherapy treats it directly and results in a smoother surface. It also spot reduces fat in
specific areas.

How do the Mesotherapy injections work? The combination of medications, vitamins and amino acids are formulated to meet your specific needs. These work by being injected (in small amounts) into targeted areas and ¡°melting¡± the fat beneath the skin surface and ¡°shrinking¡± the fat cells in the scarpa¡¯s fascia layer. There is minimal bruising and discomfort associated with the injections.

How many Mesotherapy treatments are needed and what results will I see? Your treatment program will be customized for you¡therefore the number of treatments varies from patient to patient. Some patients see results after the first treatment while others see results after 4-5 treatments. The results become visible as you and family/friends notice your clothes become ¡°looser¡± and you appear thinner. Mesotherapy results are measured in loss of "inches¡± rather than pounds.

Is Mesotherapy right for everyone? You cannot have Mesotherapy if you are/have:
Pregnant
You are an insulin dependent diabetic
Stroke history
History of recent cancer
History of blood clots
On multiple medications for heart disease
Maureen Bigler will discuss your medical/health history in depth and decide if you can receive this treatment.
For the right candidate¡Mesotherapy can provide dramatic positive results.

Will Mesotherapy results last? Yes¡they can and do last! Aging is an ¡°ongoing-dynamic¡± process for
every human being. We cannot stop the aging process¡but we can address the symptoms that aging brings
our way. Mesotherapy is an effective ¡°preventative¡± against the ravages of aging.
